Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your first time walking into a therapy session can feel intimidating and uncertain, it’s normal! Just remember, your first session is meant to give you a chance to meet your therapist, ask any questions you may have, share (as much or as little about) what you’d like to accomplish through therapy, and see if you feel like your therapist is a good fit for you.

Remember, you want to be sure you can feel comfortable talking to the therapist you will be working with, so take your time and don’t be afraid to bring up anything you’re curious about!

  • I do require all new client’s to schedule a free 15 minute consultation prior to our first meeting. This way, we each have the opportunity to explore whether you feel comfortable to begin working together, I can be sure I feel equipped to help with your specific needs, and we can work together to find an appointment time that works for your schedule.

  • Ideally, therapy sessions take place weekly. This allows for quicker and more meaningful progress to be made. Over time, appointments may naturally begin shifting to biweekly meetings as goals are being met.

  • Yes. While meeting in person has it’s advantages, meeting virtually via video call can also be extremely helpful. Virtual sessions also give you the chance to do therapy from the comfort of your own home, especially if transportation is tricky for you or you’d like to open up your scheduling ability.

  • Yes! If you can not make it in person, no problem! I can work with any resident of Florida via telehealth.

As I am also licensed in New Jersey, anyone residing there can meet with me virtually as well.

  • Unfortunately I do not accept insurance, as Fiori Therapy is private pay only.

However, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
